What to expect
It was never going to be a ‘traditional’ wedding, was it? Expect whiskey, the groom’s legs, and maybe even Mrs. Doubtfire flipping you the bird. You might spot a lightsaber hilt, a few Disney touches, and definitely lots of smiles.
There’ll be great music, dodgy dance moves (no judgement here), and a whole lot of fun.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Photography
We have amazing photographers booked. You can find them here – www.altwedding.co.uk
They specialise in those candid moments and that’s what we love! There will be some formal group shots that we will round you up for, but other than that we want to see those natural shots of everyone enjoying our day with us. If you do want a posed photo with anyone taken while they are walking round please just ask and they will be happy to!
We will be able to send you the link to the online gallery after the wedding once the photos have been finalised.
Also we politely ask you to refrain from sharing any photos of us on social media until we have done so ourselves.
Unplugged Ceremony
Don’t be that person! We want to see your faces not your devices. Please put away your phones and cameras until after the ceremony, we want you to enjoy the special moment with us fully present.
Absolutely no photos during the ceremony. We’ve got amazing photographers capturing every moment and we don’t want anyone getting in their way and ruining a perfect shot! All photos will be shared with you.
With respect….
While we love your little ones we have decided to have our wedding a no young children occasion (other than those involved in the wedding party).
We hope you’ll understand this decision and the advance notice means you are still able to share our big day.
